MET Energy Systems provided complete Mechanical and Electrical engineering services for the New French Immersion School. Francis H. Clergue was built on the grounds of the existing FH Clergue School, the school was designed to house up to 750 students, JK to Grade 8. This school emphasizes new programs such as dedicated science lab, art room, music room, and a possible technology room. The new school will be centred around a very exciting learning environment that includes state of the art library, full sized gymnasium with a stage for drama production, and a common multi-purpose forum that will serve as a focal point for students and the community at a large.
MET Energy Systems provided complete Mechanical and Electrical engineering services for the New JK to Grade 12 addition built onto the existing Hornepayne elementary school. The new addition provides elementary and secondary students with new programming enhancements with dedicated art room, music room, construction, tech and manufacturing facilities, and a new larger library. Green features include; Energy efficient lighting with motion sensors, High Efficiency boilers and mechanical systems with heat recovery.
MET Energy along with Sault College have designed a new 30kW wind turbine on campus. It is located between the general parking lot of J-wing and the Outback Student Life Centre. this will offer academic and research possibilities for students in various programs while powering the Student Life Centre. This event will introduce the turbine to the community and explore what having renewable energy on campus means to the college.
